Use, maintenance and maintenance of UPS power supply
(1) When installing the UPS, choose a well-ventilated, clean environment and keep a certain distance from other objects, especially high-power UPS. When the working environment temperature exceeds 25 °C, the temperature rises by 10 °C, the battery Life expectancy is reduced by about half. Therefore, air conditioning and cooling measures should be taken if conditions permit.
(2) When the UPS is turned on, firstly, the power load is turned off. After the UPS power is turned on, the load is turned on one by one, and the order is reversed when the power is turned off. Starting or shutting down with load will increase the failure rate of the UPS, so do not use the power switch of the UPS as the main switch of the load.
(3) Periodically (recommended every six months) check the terminal voltage and internal resistance of each unit battery in the UPS. If the difference between the measured voltage and its rated voltage exceeds 0.4V or its internal resistance exceeds 80mΩ, the unit battery should be balancedly charged. . In addition, check the battery electrode for corrosion and loose joints.
(4) For the case that the UPS is in normal power supply for a long time, the mains input should be intentionally cut off every 2~3 months, and the UPS should work in the state of supplying power from the battery to the load for a period of time until the UPS starts to run due to insufficient energy storage. Alarm, at this time, the utility can be connected to restore normal power supply. This allows us to understand the backup time performance of the UPS, and also to maintain the battery's activity and storage function in the UPS.
